burner probs

    i recently updated my computer to windows 2000, and now my burner is only working as a cd rom. i have directCD, and it shows that i have a burner drive, but when it comes down to burning anything, it won't work. Can anyone help?

    your problem may be that you dont now have a ASPI layer!

    find adaptec webite and download the ASPI for your operating system!

    [bold] Uninstall Roxio's DirectCD [/bold] as it is well known DirectCD causes ASPI layer conflicts. Install Aspi 4.6 (preferably) but if you can't find this version on a p2p file sharing client then install ASPI 4.7. Use another packet writing software such as Nero's Ahead InCD. You can find ASPI 4.7 at our main website.
