burner probs

    I don't know if this is being asked in the right forum. Can anyone tell me why my burner (BenQ1655) is all of a sudden using all the cpu to burn. It just started where I was able to do other things now I can't. I run Windowxp, 1.25 GB mem. Has anyone any ideas I run adaware, and my anti-virus, Defragged and I cdon't know what to do now. TYIA hoping someone can help.

    What program are you using to burn, and what are you burning?

    Using IMGBurn and backing up my movies. I use DVDShrink anydvd and IMGBurn.
