i have two burners on my pc, a cd and dvd burner, for some odd reason theve now decided to gin=ve my problems, they will not burn dvds or cds , i always get some type of error message win i try, (somehow the dvd will burn iso files) i have taken my cpu apart several times and maybe somehow i caused it or not, the error message that i get the most is something about not being able to start the disc at once process or something like that , do you think it has something to do with the way the burners is positioned on the

if youve been taking your CPU apart then im suprised your pc even switches on lol... i think you meant youve taken your computer apart a few times.

you could well have caused damage to the drives it depends on what youve been messing with inside your computer, they may have just broken through being used too much (likely if they werent expensive drives).

the position of the drives shouldnt have any effect on them really.

the only sure fire way to test if the drives work is to test them in another system too see if you get the same problems. if you do its the drives at fault. if you dont then its something else.
