Burning 1x sony dvd dru500ax in nero

    Im trying to burn a video dvd in nero, i have a sony dvd dru 500ax, but for some reason nero seems unable to burn in 1x, i only get the options to burn in 2.6 and 3.1, so is there anyway to burn in nero with 1x.

    I have the same problem with Nero 5.5.10.20 and a DRX-500UL firmware v 2.0e. I have tried all firmware versions and can still only choose from 2.6x and 3.1x burn speeds.

    Any help appreciated

    couldnt you try am older version nero say back an update?

    i am thinking of this burner and wish to follow this tread!
