This has probably been posted before and someone will probably post it again after i do it, but im having a lil problem burning a 360 game.

Ive burned a 360 game but the 360 won't read it - my un-modded console says "please insert this into an xbox 360 console", however the modded console says "can not read disc"

im using a DVD+R DL (Aone) disc (yea i know verbatim ones are better). and burning on a Dell Inspiron 1520 HL-GSA-T21N DVD Rewriter

Booktype can not be changed however according to imgburn its been writing to DVD-ROM (as the booktype).

i have used the .dvd file that came with the game (for the layer break). 1st copy i burned with CloneCD and everything seem fined (no errors) but didnt work in the console, 2nd copy i burned it failed during verification (alot of people have had this problem apparently), but i haven't tested it in the console yet.

just woundering if any of you guys have any ideas that might help the situation?

So let me get this straight, you burnt a game and all of that but your console is un modded. Which means it not able to play back up games. Maybe i didnt read it very well and i missed something but it wont play the game unless it is flashed and modded, or has a mod chip.

You got about as straight as a circle. He said he tried it on a modded one too. Youve probably burnt it wrong or its because of your shit discs, try again.

No i didn't go out and specially buy these Aone discs, its what i had left over from when i backed up My Files from PC - aswell as to just mess around with LOL. (they only cost me £8 from ebay awhile ago).

Verbitam discs cost (RRP) £25 - or £15 on eBay.
