Hi, I have downloaded files already dvd formatted (vob) that I want to copy to a single 4.8gb dvd.

In nero startsmart I've gone to picture/video section and clicked "burn dvd-videos files" figuring nero would put the 5.7 gb of files into dvd9 form automatically, instead I'm getting error messages saying to insert a disc with sufficient space. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

    ---edit---
    my nero is 6,6,0,16
    nero vision is 2,1,2,24

Your post states that you are using a single layer disc (DVD-5), but you are telling Nero to put the information on a dual layer (DVD-9) disc. You need to use Nero Recode and set your target size to 4300 in order to compress the data enough to fit onto a single layer disc.
