bin/cue files are image files. You should be able to use any burning program such as nero. In nero click file>open. for file types select "all image formats", select your cue file and burn.

you could try alcohol, but it sounds like a pretty strange problem. have you burned with nero before and had these problems?

this is the first time i have tried to burn a game with nero. I use it for everything else tho and it works fine. I've also tried alcohol but that would only let me burn at 8x when i selected the playstation option. And so i trieed it using alcohol an stil the same problem hope this may help you to see whats wrong. thanx

To test your image , scan it with CDMage, then (or 'mount' it and try to play it with the PC emulator [bold]ePSXe[/bold]) . If the image appears correct, it can only be a media type problem (PSX cannot read CD-RWs, for instance).

Ah, burning with the "Playstation" option is useless. It works only to burn an image extracted from an original CD with Alcohol 120% using the "Playstation" profile, to be able to play the copy with a non-modchipped PSX.

Making a CD-R working in a modchipped PSX is the easiest way to do. The profile "Normal CD" must be used, or you canuse Nero, CDRWin, everything you like. It's extracting the cue/bin the trickiest part.

And, don't worry for the '8X'. 8X could even be your burner 'minimum' speed (my burner's is 4X) or could be due to Alcohol 120%'s configuration for burning with that profile.
