My problem is that when I download a movie in dvd format and burn it to a blank dvd using dvdshrink, my cheap little dvd player will refuse to play it saying the dvd has no playback feature. However my cheap little dvd player will play a burnt dvd if the source is from a commercial bought dvd. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can burn a downloaded movie so my retardedly retarded dvd player can play it. (I bought the thing for like $20 at walmart)

so when you downloaded the file from the net , what format was it in.
If it was an avi for example you would need to convert it to an mpeg2 compatible format before you burn it to your disc.Only then will you be able to view it on your standalone dvd player

dvdshink isnt a burning engine, it is used as a reauthor in conjuction with a burning engine like nero to burn your project to disc
