Rotary: Im not getting error messages. It just freezes at about 36% or so. When I ran it with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink it just frooze and it didn't move anymore.

I will try to clean it to see if thats the deal. But I had heard that Adult DVD's were either really hard to burn or just plain impossible to burn. What do ya think?

well if the disk is scracthed iy might be a
    (cyrillic redundancy check)

    if not try this

open up the dvd drive folder and drag and drop your files from
your dvd drive to your desktop or a folder

then use ifo edit to create ifo and bup files for your vob files
then use dvd shrink to burn to an image and burn..

    hi

adult dvds i dont think have encryption in? like tekdek says just try copying (my computer open drive to see folders, highlight all then copy / paste) all files/folders from dvd to a folder on your HD then load to shrink if needed to compress

but do you have plenty of hd space left for ripping?

Well I tried the cleaning thing and still not working. I wonder if they have a real powerful code that dvd decrypter and dvd shrink can't do?

I don't think that it's a special code. I mean it's just a porno. And are pornos protected at all. I use dvd shrink and it's worked with some major blockbuster. I've never seen an ecryption that shrink can't bypass.

    2 cents.

I've heard that "those" dvd's are actually the easiest to burn. Mostly, they are region free and do not have encryption. Mostly.

    At least, that's what I'm told. (;-)

Usually, you can open decrypter and it'll let you know if the disk has encryption or not. If not, you don't have to run it through (decrypter), if you want to save time.

Shrink should be able to handle the compressing, not unless it's a really huge file. If so, you might want to consider re-authoring.

    Good Luck!

I will try another one then. Maybe the one I have is weird. It might be that it's 5 hours long, hmmm. I'll try a regula 90 minute one.
