Im trying to burn a movie onto a VCD. It is slightly larger then my CD-RW though. I would like to make a CD1 and a CD2 with one half of the movie on each CD. Im using Nero Burning Rom. Does anyone know how i can make 2 separate CD's with a CD1 and a CD2 because i cant figure out how and i just spent an hour Encoding the video to find out there was an error since there wasnt enough room on the disk.
From within Nero im confident to say that this isnt posible unless you have a HDCD compatible DVD player then you can create a HDVCD. But assuming you dont then you can use TMPGEnc (freeware) and split it into 2 VCD compliant mpeg files. Just remember its not the size of the file that you take into account its the length of the video, i think ive got upto 840mb when making a vcd.
