When I put my movie(mpeg) into Nero5 it keeps telling me that my disk is full even when the disk is fresh out of the wrapper. Do I need a DVD burner to make a VCD or can I use my normal burner?

No, you can use a normal burner. The problem here probably lies with the media you are using, that some way your burner thinks there is data on it. Did you try burning a vcd with anything else other than Nero?

I've just tried useing WinOnCD 5 and it burnt perfectly. I've noticed that Nero wouldn't burn any of my Data disks either.

Then you have a burner not fully compatible with nero, which is no big problem anyway because there are very good burning programs availible!
