    Hello;

    I use nero express 6 to do all my CD, DVD burning. Recently I bought a game that is on a DVD 9 disc. I made a copy of the DVD as an image on my hard disk. Now i wish to burn this image to a blank DVD 9 cd using nero express 6.

    So what i do here is insert the blank DVD 9 into my drive launch nero, select DVD option from the drop down. Select copy & backup and then burn image to disk this prompts me to locate my image file on drive. All is well till then I hit next and it starts to cache the file and immediately prompts that it failed to start disc-at-once! I have no clue what just happened? Can you help?

    For Dual Layer backup the recommended method is Imgburn and Verbatim DL discs, with burn speed between 2x and 4x.

    You can find a link to Imgburn (freeware) in my sig.

    one more thing...... if you are burning a DL disk.... make sure to get Verbatim! Those are the best DL disks you can get! Using quality media is important and stops many problems from happening.

    Of course you could just burn in Burning Rom and change the setting in Nero from Multisession to No Multisession. That usually does the trick. You are also using a very old version of Nero.
