Hello! I want to burn an installer more than 700mb in size like SOLIDWORKS 2007 to cd-r only,Is there a software can do this? Usually an installer of multi disc meaning in cd-r not in dvd during installing the fist disc of software before inserting the next one a promt says " INSERT DISC 2" .My question is,Is there a software can do this? My point here is that,we know a 4 gig file is not enough for a one cd-r blank but im looking a software that can split a huge file while burning it then afterwards the burning software asking you to insert another blank cd-r to continue burning the remaining file unburned. I know there is a solution about this by burning it to dvd but i want to try burning it into a blank multi disc cd-r using a certain burning software. I repeat is there a software can do this? To the burning GURUS,I would appreciate any help here. Thanks!

I suppose you can split the files to fit into two CD-Rs. But the real problem is, even if you've successfully done this you need something to prompt you to insert the second disc this to finish installation or it might just crash because it's missing some files needed for the boot. Try googling "Autorun.inf."
