Burning an ISO Image with RipIt4Me and FixVTS

I often burn ISO image files to blank DVD-R (5GB) or DVD+R DL (9GB), if possible, so I don't have to use DVD Shrink. I currently use RipIt4Me in the ISO mode and it works fine. I then burn the ISO image to disc using Nero software. My question is, should I be dragging and dropping the ISO image files to FixVTS for processing or not? I don't know if it's necessary with an ISO image. The FixVTS box never pops up as a choice when I choose to rip the original DVD in the ISO mode with RipIt4Me. It only appears when I choose any other ripping mode in RipIt4Me. I have only burned older (2005 or later) DVD's and have not yet watched one of my ISO image copies from beginning to end to see if it works. Please advise, thanks.
