here is the thing, i have downloaded a couple of MKV 1080p files where normaly they go for 8-9Gb, the thing is that i was looking to transform this into AVCHD format so i can use DUAL LAYER DISK and put it on my PS3, But the problem is the following. using the program tsMuxeR will convert me the files into 12gb folders, how can i shrink this? how, what program? or whats is the way to tranform this into a format where i could use the Dual Layer Disk? and without loosing resolution, quality.

Need very specify suggestions please in order for me to accomplish this.

    Thanks

    whats your audio spec
if there is more than one i would choose one audio
i would eliminate the end credits too if i have to
and then there is a bd-rebuilder which is free program
and it give u the option of dvd-5/dvd-9/bd22gb/bd-23450mb abit more
    i would try that
    good luck
it compress the video but my rule of thumb don't go more than 10 %
