Burning avi files - when picture moves horizontally I get slight stops

Hi all,

I am having a problems with burning .avi files though Nero into DVDs. The burning process works just fine but when I play the DVD any camera work that involves moving horizontally has a kind of sligh pause action. Its like the movement pauses for half a second then moves for 5 seconds and then pauses again. The movie itself is crisp with no ghosting. If the camera moves vertically in the movie there are no such errors.

Anyone else had this or can offer an explantion and remedy?
