Burning AVI files with a DVD burner to play in ALL DVD players...HELP!!

    I am getting into personal video production and I was concidering using DVD as a means of distribution, but before I invest in a DVD burner I want to know if it's a semi-easy process formatting AVI files or any other kind of video file to play on ALL DVD players?

    Well you would have to encode them for dvd and then use a good dvd burning software to burn! Something like Ulead DVD Workshop would make it easy enough!
