Burning avi files with nero vision

Hi Is there a way to burn avi files which are about 700MB on Nero without it changing them to 2GB files.

Thanks in advance and please treat me like a noob I have little experience with burning

I have burned files this way but it seems to change the file format into something bigger. I want to burn a back up of a tv series and it will take about 15 discs if i do it that way :s

 

alkohols guide is for conversion,(which means it will convert them to mpeg2 the dvd movie format) if you just want to burn them as an avi, select burning as data and it will just dump them to disc
