Burning avi to disc problem

    Hello,
    Ive got a avi file which is 2hours 48mins long, but when i burn tha avi file to disc it cuts out after 1hour 59mins and misses the end off. Ive used Imgburn and Infrarecorder to burn it and same thing.Does anyuone have any idea why.

    Your question is difficult to answer as stated.
    Are you burning the file as data? In which case the relevant info is the size
    (in GB's or MB's) of the file.

    Bear in mind that most standalone divx/xvid players have problems if the avi file
    is bigger than 2GB.

    Hi,Thanks for getting back to me,it turns out its the dvd player wont play avi files over 2 hours long.I have ended up splitting it in 2 and is now ok.
