i have a .avi file that is like 899mb and usually i use nero to burn them to dvd-r and it usually works perfectly but this time it took the movie and made it huge like over 5gb and it makes the movie 3 hours instead of the original 1 hour and 45 minutes. i understand that the file with get bigger but not why it gets longer in time. then i tried the tutorial on this website and it still did the same thing????

    help please!

Nero is not a good encoder anyway. So maybe you should try use DivxToDVD (free program) to convert the avi into dvd compliant format, then burn with Nero.

    hi

nero visionexpress i think has LP or SP short play or long play feature it sounds like its been switched? also like said nero to encode isnt brill! good to burn with on nero rom though!

divxtodvd is v-good like said, but i prefer avi2dvd or film machine all 3 apps free...
