Burning AVI to DVD

I tried using DVD Santa but it takes like two seconds to convert it and then it says would you like to burn. i hit yes and then it goes thru the writing process takes about 10 min then i put it in my dvd player and it can't find disc. it loads for a while and then says no disc.

Now im trying Divx to DVD Convertor.Is there a program where i can just hit one button like DVD Santa and have it do it all for me?

 

Also if i do use DIVX to DVD convertor can i just go to NERO and go to burn a dvd and use the video ts files and burn it. will that work or no?
