Burning avi. to format viewable on a dvd player

    I've downloaded many mpg and avi files and i wanted to know how to burn them so there playable on dvd please help

    Hi.

    The mpegs you can burn right away with Nero,just make VCD in Nero.
    The avi you have to convert to mpeg first with TMPGEnc.

    how do i i make a vcd in nero and also how do i convert the avi to mpeg with tmpgenc
