Hello, I am wondering if some of the DVD companies have instituted a new type of drm for dvds as I have just ran into problems. I can get the encryption broken but when the dvd starts to burn it starts as normal but then stops about 5% of the way into it (ruining a dvd disc) and says it can't burn the files. I have tried 1-click, with dvd 43, DVD Fav Platinum, Rip It for Me along with DVD decrypter and dvd shrink. all have been failing and Nero is my burning software. Any ideas as to what could have happened? Jburner

    1) Get rid of DVD43. Doesn't work and conflicts with your other software.
    2) As I believe bones was eluding to, Nero 8 doesn't work well either. Many users have experienced a multitude of problems with it.
    3) Download ImgBurn from Afterdawn. It is free a is a great burning software, highly recommended.
    4) You should be able to use the following process and have success:
    -Rip to HDD with DVDFab
    -Cleanup up files with FixVTS
-Shrink to DVD5 with DVD Shrink
    -Burn with ImgBurn.

Happiness is just around the corner. :)

Just to throw my two coppers around, DVD43 is absolute junk. Rid yourself of it, run a registry cleaner like Ccleaner, defrag, then follow up with Fergs advice.
