Sorry for the noob question, don't know enough about this to help myself and this seems to be a pretty knowledgable forum

Do I need a conversion program in order to burn bins and cue files? I have alcohol 120% but I'm not sure if it works the way I want it to, there is a "burn image" option but I need confirmation that it will in fact burn the image I have mounted on one of the drives to a blank DVD.

Any other tips would be appreciated....

I also have the same problem with mp4 - conversion software for that too?

if you have alcohol 120% mount your bin/cue file in the virtual drive goto explore and tell us its contents

sorry getting ahead of my self that .dat file is a mpeg
you could use alcohol to burn the vcd onto a cd if your player supports it
if you want to make it into a dvd here goes
    download divxtodvd
    the old freeone is here

    http://freedownload.softonic.de/windows/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_0.52.99.exe

load your .dat file in you may have to select view all files to find it set your destination location and hit convert it will take 3-4 hours to build the dvd dont be suprised if it finds a few errors along the the way it will compensate

the resulting video ts folder can then be burnt to dvd
