Never had a problem before until now. The DVD drive in question is a Sony DW-D22A. I'm using Nero 7 updated and I even downloaded and tried the trial version of Nero 9. I've tried burning at lower speeds and 2 different brand of discs and the same thing happens. I think it has to be a Nero problem because when I used 2 other burning programs and the discs burned fine. I could be wrong so that's why I'm here for your assistance. I haven't used Nero for a while - I can't remember if a simulation followed by a burn is normal - but since the other burning programs work ok, I wonder if you used the Nero Clean Tool before reinstalling.
