I have purchased many tracks from various sites and gotten them tagged and in mp3 format. When I burn a CD the tag info is stripped and I get Track01.cda, etc. Anyone know of a way to retain tags when going from mp3 to cd-r?

if your goal is to burn your mp3s to a standard audio CD, then there you cannot transfer your tag info to the track titles, thats just the format audio CDs are in. you can however write CD TEXT to the audio CD, if the burning app you use supports it, and the audio CD player your using can read it. For example, if burning an audio CD in nero, click the "CD TEXT" button in the setup dialog, and when you drag and drop your mp3s over it will put the tag info into the CD TEXT info.
