I have 4 movie files, 1 and a half hours each and would like to burn them all onto one DVD disc. Is there a program that will allow me to do that? Would Nero work? If there is a program, please provide steps of the process.

    Thank you in advance.

Nero vision express will convert AVI files to DVD. Are these AVI files? If so and you have Nero Vision Express start it and then choose to make a DVD-Video and import the AVI files into vision express. You have a choice to make a menu or not make one. Just follow the steps that nero vision express gives. It is pretty simple.

I have done that before but the problem is that Nero Vision does not allow me to burn all those files onto one DVD disc. And it replies with the message: "Your project currently requires more disc space than available on the selected destination device" Also:

Used space 8.80GB, 4.10 more than available

    and that's only 2 files

What should I do? Please help.

The reason I don't want to get Dual Layer DVDs is that there is a great possibility for them to get scratched or damaged. Other than that Thank You For Your Help and Time!!! I really appreciated it.

Nero Vision Express has an option under CONFIGURE called VIDEO OPTIONS or something of that nature, on the second tab of this box it gives you the ability to change the video bitrate (hence lowering the size) if the files you are using are copyrighted, protected, etc... They might not allow compression, if this is the case you would have to re-rip them.

You can also have NeroVision make an image file instead of burning a DVD. Use DVD Shrink to transcode and compress the image file to a single layer DVD.
