burning different regions

    I moved to USA from UK and want to backup my UK region 1 DVDS that wont play in USA dvd players so they are region free.After having browsed the forum i d/loaded Dvd Shrink,Dvd encrypter & i already have Nero OEM.Is this the way to go?
    I was wondering about backing up from UK PAL dvds to USA NTSC or shouldnt this be a problem?I have looked for info on this but to no success.

    Two ways you can do this.
    One is to just buy a region free dvd player.
    Or two rip each movie and convert them to NTSC which is alot of work and time.
