    Hi all,

I've borrowed a DVD from a friend of mine which I need to give back tomorrow, but I won't get chance to watch it tonight. Is there a way (I know there must be) to record this to my HDD to watch when i've got time?

I'm using Nero v6, I also have "VSO to DVD" and "DVD Shrink".
Can I use any of these to do the job.

    Thanks in advance.

you need to take out the encryption of the DVD and then you can copy to hard drive. but you don't own the disk so that is illegal!

Ok, Thank you - I wasn't planning to keep it or copy it, just watch it, but I understand about the legalities etc.

You may not need an encryption remover IF the DVD is a copy of a movie. You can use either DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink to rip it. If it's original you'll need encryption software like IHoe said. Get them here

If it's an older movie (original disc) either one might open it, but Nero for sure won't.

Get free decryption software at above site also>DVD Fab Decrypter
