Had 13 episodes (all divx files) of a series which came to 3.6 GB,when converted to DVD format it becomes 12.6 GB can this be shrunk in order to fit on a 4.7GB disc ! & if so whats the best software for that.
I really don't know if you could shrink a file that big to fit a DVD5. And if you could, I think the quality would be horible. You could probably shrink it to fit a DVD9 with acceptable results using DVD Shrink Or what I would personally do would be split it across 3 DVD5 discs so it would not need to be compressed. The quality is not going to be perfect anyway going from Divx to DVD format, so compressing it will only reduce it more. Welcome to the forum
