I've been trying to burn a couple of movies using nero after i use divx converter. The files end up being 1.5 gigs or less but when I use Nerovision and add the files it ends up being 4 gigs or more. It also doesn't recognize it as an mp4 even after i rename the file as an mp4. I want to keep it as the smaller files. What am I doing wrong?

The only way it sees the files is if I go to the show all files option, It doesnt' see it in the show all supported files option. What I want to do is put a couple of movies on 1 dvd and I've been able to do it using the data method but want some kind of menu w/ chapters if possible.

    Hello.

If you're trying to keep the files in divx format, burn them as data disks with Nero Express or Nero Burning ROM. If you're importing them into NeroVision, it's probably converting your divx files to be DVD compliant to make a DVD video disk.

That's what I was figuring was happening. I have used express and it works fine but there are no menus or chapters. Is there a way I can add menu's and chapters using express?

Not with Nero Express. I think NeroVision Express only does DVDs, VCDs, and SVCDs, all with menus of course.

    Maybe this will help:

If you want to play divx on a standalone player, the player has to be capable of doing so; otherwise, the divx files have to be converted to DVD compliant files. NeroVision Express can do this and do the menus as well in that case.

I have the philips divx player so that won't be a problem.

Thanks, I'll try the program out.
