I'm trying to burn a DVD. Both Audio and video folders with all files in the Video folder are present. However, upon burning to Nero it gave an error message like 'VTS_01_0 not identical to VTS_01_0.BUP' I've heard that the IFO file should be the same as the BUP Backup but I tried copying the IFO to the BUP and it still wont work. I have 2 dvd's like this. I've looked at IFO edit software but it's a little confusing. Any ideas anyone? One thing, might be nothing, the backup file has extension '.BUP' but the IFO file does not show the '.IFO extension', although it is an IFO file. The film plays perfect on my pc.
There maybe something wrong with the structure of the video files that nero just doesn't like. Try this, with the files already on your HDD, process the files in the VIDEO_TS folder thru a very easy to use application called FixVTS, it will correct any problems found and hopefully solve your problem. Make sure all boxes are checked, click and drag all the .VOB files into the lower window of FixVTS and click on FullDVD. The application will fix the files in place (meaning it will not create a new set), wait for it to finish and retry with nero. Get it here (do some reading to get familiar with it): http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/
