Burning DVD movie to Ipod

I wanted to put some of my dvd movies onto my ipod, which program can I use? Is it exactly like burning a dvd except once the movie is on the HD, you just convert it to mp4?

 

Just convert your DVD to Mp4 file directly, and drag into your iTunes, then sync to your iPod.

CloneDVDMobile works very good for this. You just put the dvd in the drive, click the mouse a couple times, and you can convert to any portable device format you need. It is cheap but not free.

 

Do you know of any free programs out there?

 

I have these programs already....dvd shrink, dvd fab decrypter, jodix ipod video converter, dvd decrypter, videora ipod converter, mobilevideo for ipod, clone dvd2. Can I use any of these programs to copy a dvd to ipod????

 

What is Mobilevideo to Ipod? That sounds promising. For free maybe you should follow the above post.

 

Baldie559-I have had great success using Dvdfab - Videora converter - drag and drop converted files onto Ipod using Itunes.

 

I must add...dkmopq and lethalB have great guides on how to accomplish converting Dvd to Ipod.
