Burning dvd on cdrw

    I am a newbie and this is probably a dumb question but....can I burn dvd's on a cdr/rw or do I have to have a dvd burner.

    You will need a DVD burner.

    Itchie,
    It is possible to burn DVD’s to a CD using a program that will convert the DVD files to Divx or Avi files. One program that comes to mind is IntervideoDVDCopy but the quality is so bad, that is, you loose so much quality because you’re cramming a 4 GigaByte Movie onto a 600 MegaByte disk that to me it’s better to just spend about $39 or so on a good DVD Burner…….
