I have a BenQ 1620DW which I have sucessfully burned many DVD-R's with Verbatim DVD-R 8x media on a PC running Win2k. I moved the BenQ burner into a another computer running WinXP MCE 2005 and since then, I have not been able to burn a single disc. I have updated the firmware to the latest version, and I installed the Adaptec windows ASPI driver (http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/driverdetail.jsp?cat=/Product/ASPI-4.70&filekey=aspi_471a2.exe&sess=no)
