I clicked on burn DVD Video Files in Nero StartSmart and when I went to add the img file, I got a message saying it was larger than 2GB and cannot be stored in an ISO file system. Does anyone know what this means? Will I still be able to burn this img file and watch it on a DVD player?
Hi amoretto, Welcome to A/D, Why not download DVD Decrypter (FREE) and let it burn for you - Mode, ISO write - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm BTW, It looks like you choose DVD Video files - looking for a VIDEO_TS folder not an ISO image - You should have choosen "Burn Image to Disc." I think you'll like DV Decrypter better - it also rips DVD's so it can be used with recode2 ) cheers, Pete
ScubaPete, you were right. I clicked on the wrong thing in Nero. I just burned it the correct way by choosing burn image file and it worked, but I can only view the DVD on my computers DVD-ROM. I tried it on two seperate DVD players, one didn't read the disc at all and the other played it but the picture was all choppy. If I downloaded that DVDShrink and other program, will that make a difference in playing them on DVd Players?
amoretto, I'm going to need allot more information before I can answer that - What is the source of your "Image" file ? That's not something that's normal when doing DVD backups unless your ripping with DVD Decrypter - What media are you using - that could be a major problem if you haven't bothered to check recommendations from here at A/D - Knowing your PC's specs would help also - You can understand, I can't tell you how to get somewhere if I don't know where you're comming from - Get back to me with the answers - Pete
