Burning DVD to play on 42 inch plasma

    When I burn a dvd from tv that I save on win tv with nero it dont play on my wide screen tv please tell me what to do to burn it where it plays on my tv...

    when you put the dvd into the player does anything come up on the screen? your dvd player probably doesn't read the disc. what type of file are you burning? your video file probably needs converted before burning to disc.

    It plays but the picture is at the top of the screen. You can see the bottom half of the show. The dvd works fine on the std tv I have..

    Question: Are you running your standalone player through the HDTV amplifier ? Remember when you recorded and played the DVD on your "old fashion" TV set, the pixels were much farther apart. You must run your DVD player through your HDTV amp to adjust for the difference.
