I have just started trying to burn DVD's i use nero and it works and says burn has completed succesfully, but when i go to play the dvd's back on my laptop or dvd player they get to a spot and freeze. Some play a little longer than others but they don't get further than about two sceens at the most. I'm useing r+ dvd's would using r- make a difference??

Does anyone have any ideas in why this is happening?????please help!!

    Hi there,

Playback problems like skipping and freezing are usually related to:

    1- Cheap Media

2- Burned too fast, most of us burn VideoDVD at 2x or 4x (MAX)

3- Never burn to close to the edge.

Ex: In DVDShrink we set the output to 4300mb MAX, and not 4464mb which is the default !

What brand of media are you using ?
    What's the media id ?

    VSO Inspector v1.1 --> http://www.vso-software.fr/
    can provide that to you.

What speed do you burn those ?

    Good Luck !

Do you work for vso? if not, you should, you sure push the products enough.LOL
You can also find out the media I.D. by putting the disc in the drive, and open up dvd decrypter, and click on mode/iso read.

    Hi there,

    Glad you asked :)

1- I am an official ßeta tester for VSO DivXtoDVD v2.00

2- I use it all time, it works, it's good why not push it and offer it to others.

3- Do I gain anything ? Yes, I'm happy to see users using VSO great software and getting good results.

4- Are VSO better than others ? I can't really say, there's millions of other software out there, maybe better, maybe more expensive.

5- I think VSO has excellent software, works great, easy to use and is not so expensive.

If I am asked to stop pushing because I do push alot these days, with the release of DivXtoDVD Pro v2.0, I promise I will try to calm down :)

But hey, people ask, I answer :)

    VSO has awsome software:

    A) Blindwrite: Generate 1:1 copies of your media

    B) PhotoDVD: Create awsome DVD Slideshows with your digitals Pictures, add 3 sound tracks, and 3 subtitle tracks

    C) DivXtoDVD: Well, we all know what that one does :)

    D) CopyToDVD: A excellent burning software, Nero's biggest competitor.

    E) Inspector: What can I say, it's free, does the job so well, gives you all the needed info, and scans your media for errors (Sector Scan and File Tests) !!!

So, do I get gift now ? <wink>...
