    Hi

Can anybody pease help me...I've cannot get my DVD's to burn so they fill the screen on my 28" wide screen TV. I've got my TV set to 16:9, I have my DVD player set to 16:9 and I set the software to burn at 16:9...but still I get thick black sides reducing the viewing area on my TV. I'v tried both 'PAL' & 'NTSC' but still the same problem. I feel the answer cant be rocket science but it just can't work it out......HELPME BEFORE I GO MAD LOL....

    Many thanks
    Mgreg

Is the video that you are trying to burn, a 16:9 video? If not, you are going to get the black bars.

Cineama mode believe it or not gives more detail than if you use normal,do a web search it'll give you an idea of what i mean, still sux having the black bars though..lol..

EDIT: If you have any of the socom games set one up in widescreen mode in the settings menu of the game(other games may have the same setting),you actually get more viewing not less,as you switch between normal & wide you can see the diff as you make the setting
