Ok, im making progress on my dvd burning issues, whenever i use any software program later than nero 6, my disc creates errors on a normal dvd player, ex: nero 7, ashampoo, clonedvd, , i use nero 6 and it takes a hour and a half to burn but it works great on dvd player. can copy a disc quicker. any help as to why the other programs wont work? if i burn with ashampoo or clonedvd, the discs will work on dvd surround system but not regular dvd player? any help would greatly be appreciated.
jskrii, Welcome to the forum. We will need you to post the Nero 7 failed log so that we can see where the problem really is Program Files > Ahead> Nero > look for the NeroHistory Now cut and paste That info back into the thread here
there is no error file from nero 7, it burns fine, just doesnt work in regular dvd player, when i convert back to nero 6 everything works ok, just takes forever to burn
If Nero 6 is on the HD remove it , Use Nero Cleantools to get all remnants off the HD the re-boot and re-install Nero 7. If you really want Nero 7 ( i have found it to be too buggy) then do the above. You might be having a registry conflict as if both are on it could be causing problems. While you are at it also D/L a free Regisrty cleaner and clean the registry of any more conflicts. Make sure INCD is not installed for either version
