burning emulators and roms to a dvd

    i have a n64 emulator and a buncha games..i was wondering if it was possible to burn them to a dvd instead of ftping them?

    you can do this but i dont know about running them im pretty sure cuz ive run snes roms from a dvd but i had the emu on the hd via ftp. go a head and try it.

    yea well im about to put an auto installer deluxe on there and thay should give me the n64 emulator so ill just burn the roms on a disc and give that a try...thanks for the help

    If you're using Surreal 64, you'll need to configure it's settings.ini (or whatever it was) file to look for roms on the optical drive instead of the hard drive.

    An example of this would be to place all the games in a folder labeled roms inside the Surreal64 folder and then use D:/Surreal64/roms as the game location in the settings.ini file.

    ehh i have surreal64 on the hard drive and the roms on a dvd..how do you change the settings?

    ok so heres what youve got to do:

    now that youve got surreal 64, you have to configure the settings. the settings are in a file called surreal.ini, so youll have to ftp it over to your computer. otherwise once youve downloaded surreal 64 you can take the settings from there, then change the rom path on that one and transfer it over with one of the apps on ur dash...

    well see i can't ftp so i had to get an auto installer deluxe to get the emulator so how would i go about it?
