Hi all, I am attempting to burn an encoded DVD using DVD Shrink and Nero 7. the DVD is Pink Floyd Pulse Disc 1, had no problem backing it up before. it has come up with Nero error code 1135 and unsure what has happened. the log and spec are below. Firmware for drive updated. haven't tried ATAPI settings yet. thanks lads. i'm sure you'll sort it out. always have. Here you have Nero7 installed over Nero6, run this clean tool,http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html Update firmware to GD30 from here http://ftp.us.dell.com/rmsd/Gd30.zip

Very strange because this is a new computer and def has never had any other burning software, let alone a Nero on it. But i will try all. Thanks again Prob being that i'm in the Third World country of Ireland at the mo and on dial-up (GGGRRRRRR) so may take a while to get the other Nero! cheers again
Hey, well, it's sorted. I forced Dell to provide a new drive and all is well, being burnt with the Nero you told me about. Nice one. Just gonna try a video DVD now but a data one worked so i'm sure it'll be fine. Thanks again. all sorted by afterdawn as usual. peace
