Burning error

    I have recently purchased Sony HDD comcorder & now trying to save video on dvd but are facing some burning issue, keep getting error messages.
    When I transfer video clips from Sony hdd camcorder to PC they are in mpeg format, I.E 20070810.mpg
    Now can I just use Nero or software that comes with camcorder to transfer this directly onto DVD or it must first be converted to another format befire it can be saved on DVD.

    You should be able to burn it with Nero. If it requires encoding, Nero should do that.
