hi, great informative forum here. my problem: im backing up my simcity4 copy tired of loosing cds to scratches. have both .bins/cues burnt to cds with Alcohol 120% and then even tired virtual mounts.. everytime on cd1 the install hangs with an error on the simcity4.exe file at 19.3%, does anyone think this is a bad rip on cd1? or something else?
    thx, jim osborne

// nevermind got it fixed, was a bad cd1 =]

Did you scan the image for corruption with CDMage (Action menu)?

The Scan function will look for errors. The locate functio (right-click on errors) will detect the damaged file located in damaged sectors. The 'repair' or 'import' commands (again, right-click) will try to repair errors (using ECC/EDC info) or will import good sectors from a brand new undamaged file.
