This problem has just recently started to happen. I've burned with Nero before and after my 2nd disk I started to get a bunch of errors. I have managed to fix them but now I'm stuck on burning. Whenever I try to burn I get a Failure to Burn. I am using FUJIFILM DVD+R and I have used them in the past with no problems. Here is my Log. Update your Nero from here, both packages http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe I dont particularly like these discs, I recommend Verbatim or Sony (made in japan) Try increasing your burn speed to 4X You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml
go to a more stable version of Nero 6 Before udating to 6.6.0.18 I would save the serial #, uninstall Nero, then use the cleaning tools : http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/eng/Clean_Tools.html then do a registry clean up and defrag...... then reboot! install package one: Nero 6.6.0.18 then install package two: http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/Patch_for_NVE3.html reboot and you're good to go! free up some memory by shutting down un needed programs running in the background, don't muti task, shut down your anti virus software while burning DVDs..... increase your RAM would help a lot! you're very low at 256K! should have 512K minimum. burning too slow is just as bad as burning too fast. burn at half the rated speed of the disk.... 8x burn at 4x, 16x burn at 8x, etc. this is a Roxio driver...some members agree that Roxio can interfere with DVD Burning in Nero.... uninstall Roxio and run the Roxio Zapper hope this helps. good luck. and welcome to AfterDawn.

Thank you for you suggestions already. I have updated Nero like gwendolin mentioned and I dont have any other disks so for now I'm stuck with the fujifilm ones. I am a little hesitant to uninstall roxio as I share the computer with other members of my family and they are familiar with it. I have 768 MB of ram and I'm not sure why that it's not showing up. Also 2.8x is the maximum speed that I can burn at. Though, I've been able to burn before so I dont see what's the problem now. When I try to burn I get an error about starting Disc-At-Once. you followed only one suggestion that was given... updating to 66018....but as you can see you didn't use all the Nero cleaning tools to take out what was left from previous versions: notice the 6314 is still in your system, instead of 66018! but these suggestions are only there for you to try and see if it is the culprit! If problems still persist and you DON'T try all the suggestions then there's little hope in solving this. I wish you luck.
