Hello! having some problem while transcoding the movies using SmartEncoding method under Nero. I have converted the avi to mpg using Tmpgenc program & than put into nero to start burning to DVD. but after awhile of transcoding, error msg will pop out saying burning process failed. So i also try unselect the SmartEncoding method to burn. It successfully burnt out the DVD. hopefully some1 can help mi out. as smartencoding used lesser time to encode out the dvd. Thx alot...
I found the exact same thing happening to me. Disabling smartencode caused the project to complete although it took longer. Id rather have it work and take longer rather than not work, but go much faster. I dont have the answer, and i dont think Nero has one either. Maybe an update will fix it. For now, i have that box unchecked, and i live with the extra time it takes.
