I want to record tv shows to my hard drive (Titin tv) from the internet. Once they are there can I use Nero to record them to dvd? Thanks.

First of all you will require a Video Capture card of some type, I use a WinFast 2000XP. The files are captured to HD in MPEG format and then I use NeroVisionExpress to burn files to DVD

Sounds good to me, once CAPTURED just go ahead and follow guide in link provided, good luck.

You mentioned Nero 6.8, which version of Nero6 do you have, some are causing problems.

You want Nero 6.6.0.18. If that's not the one you have, I've heard of issues with the upgrade.

Your welcome gwendolin. Never had any want or need to convert files over, but came across that guide and started messing around with it. Now it's making me explore other areas of Nero I had never used. Next thing you know it I'll be capturing tv to my pc ;) Acutally I have a ATI all in wonder sitting in a box, never opened, up on a shelf. Maybe I'll break it open this weekend and install it?

I would stick with the version of which I supplied a link. This version is bug free, the latest version 6.6.1.4 is full of bugs and causing errors.

gwendolin is right. Stick with 6.6.0.18 until the bugs are worked out.
