I just downloaded Paris By Night 83, which is a vietnamese entertainment, and i gathered all the divided files into an .ISO file and i need to know how to BURN FULL DVD with menus after i gathered the files together. The main thing i am trying to do is to have it like i bought it. I dont want to make nero templates, i want to keep the paris by night menus and make it work. - Thanks, VU
Create a folder on your hard drive and extract the ISO into it. Start Nero Burning Rom and select the Video DVD compilation type, not DVD-ROM. Drag everything your extracted into the red VIDEO_TS folder and burn. You can preview it before you burn if you want by using Windows Media Player or, better yet, Media Player Classic and just open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file that's in the folder you created. If the menus are all there, you're fine.
I dont really understand, sorry. I have 23 files, and i joined them together into a .ISO . SO right now im set with just and .ISO file. Now i have to extract it again into a folder? and in nero can you tell me the exact thing im using, like create dvd project, or etc.?
LiLxVu, If I understand you correctly, you created a single ISO image which represents your movie and now you want to burn that image to disk. If this is the case, you can use Nero to do it, but I would use DVD decrypter to burn the image to disk because it can do more that just burn an image to disk. Get DVD decrypter (free) here; http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ Here is a guide using decrypter to burn an image to disk; http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/burn ISO w decrypter.pdf [bold]You can also use a couple of other free apps like;[/bold] Imgburn (the guide for dvd decrypter also applies here) http://www.imgburn.com/ ISOBurn 1.6.1 http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ISOBurn.htm
Because I do not know how you made your ISO, it's better to extract the contents. You can use WinRAR for that. Video DVDs require a lot of specific things. You MUST have everything in a VIDEO_TS folder off the root directory. There are certain filenames that are mandatory and things have to be located on specific spots on the disc. That's why it's best to use the Nero DVD-Video compilation type. Had you made an ISO directly from a DVD, use DVD-Decrypter to do it, and included the VIDEO_TS directory and whatnot, you'd probably be ok. That's good for images made from DVD-9s. But unless you are certain you meet all these criteria, I'd just extract everything. At a minimum, it's a good idea to extract the contents so you can preview it on your hard drive, let alone burn a disc. If you want to burn with the ISO, start Nero (or DVD Decrypter, or IMGBurn) click File, then Open, and open the image, and click Burn. If you want to burn separate files, if not now then for future reference, start Nero Burning ROM, select the DVD-Video compilation in the startup screen (usually it's the third one down), and then just drag all your DVD files (or even the entire VIDEO_TS directory) into the red VIDEO_TS folder on the left and click Burn. Nero will do the hard stuff. As always, use good media (read my sig) and burn at 4x speed.
