Hi, I have a iso movie which is 4,33 GB. How do I burn the movie to a DVD+R? I tried a few times but i couldn't play it in my dvd player so i could watch it in tv and when i put the dvd in my computer the movie don't play at once. Please help me.
Thanks for editing your post. NOW that you've done that. What are you burning with (burner), what progie (engine: ie; IMGBURN, Nero, and so on), media (discs), will your stand alone play the DVD+R format??? So many questions and only one solution. lol. ....gm add: edit for content.
If you don't have it already get IMGBURN. Just click the word and it'll magically transport you to a page that'll let you d/l it. It's very easy to use and VERY GOOD as well. If you have a capable DVD burner then it should do you just fine. Be sure to use quality media to begin with and branch out from there if you like. I would burn at 8x to begin with as it normally gives the best results for most media. good luck to you. ....gm

I am usin ImgBurn, if I burn my iso file can i play it and watch it on tv? Does the movie start directly? My disc is creete 8x speed 4,7 GB DVD+R.
IMGburn burns a disc that plays in DVD players attached to your TV. If you use a good brand disc (made in Japan), burn at a good speed (GM said 8x, its a good idea) you should have no problems.
As for everything else.. how the disk behaves once it loads, that all depends on how whoever made the iso set it up
Don't forget to booktype if possible, the dvd+R disc, to DVD-ROM for best compatibility on a stand alone player. Imgburn can be set to booktype some burners
I have backed up probably hundreds of DVD's in the past but generally in VIDEO_TS format. For some reason the .iso files never seem to play on my DVD player using imgburn or Nero. For now I have been converting them in Shrink to VIDEO_TS files and burning them that way then. Bit longwinded but works without wasting decent discs. Dont think I have explored that bookmarking suggestion on imgburn so may try that later, as some of the .iso files I have wont work in Shrink, even when using Daemon tools to make them appear like a disk in the PC.
That's probably nothing to do with the way you are burning and everything to do with the way the iso file has been made...unless like a lot of newbies you are attempting to burn the iso as a "data" disk, in which case it won't work I always make an iso so I can test how the disk will behave before wasting blanks, and I must do 40 a week. *sigh*.. It's hard sometimes being a commercial pr0n pirate.. I would love to do a "normal" film for a change.
Hi Yeah burning in the right way - just the iso's I get are not created by myself so unsure of how they are being built. All of them play on the PC with VLC so assume they are correct in some way. But as I mentioned some will not drop into Shrink without an error message so suspect there maybe a fault in some way. 40 a week - jeez thats some going....
They are probably wrong region pal/ntsc.. framerate will reveal which (stream/media info in vlc) I cut my numbers recently. I was contracted for 100 masters a week up until 4 weeks ago, but sleep is more important, and I got a half time job. I subbed the rest out to a couple of people who are desperate for the money. I just do the HD avi source ones now
