Burning issues

I have a SAMY drive w/Keron.It has the old firmware on it and my Xbox 360 has the 1.4Ixtreme firmware on it.Well I tried to burn a game w/my SAMY drive,it burned just fine.When I went to check if its STELTH PATCHED it wasnt.I dont know why,I just tried to burn it to a Verbatim DVD it burned just fine,but when I played it it went to DVD not a game.The game is Velvet Assassin.The last game that I burned was Resident Evil 5.

I also use XBC 2.7 and 2.8 version,but gave the error.

 

kreon drives arent burners so im not sure how you burnt a game using it?

 

I have a different Drive that burns the games to.I use the SAMY drive to backup the game.

 

Velvet Assassin is a Wave 3 game. You will need to update your iXtreme firmware to 1.5.1.

 

ok well you need new firmware on your 360 resident evil 5 was pretty much the last new game that will work on 1.4 or lower unles you have nonstealth fw which you dont want.
all newer games are using a new video file referred to as wave 3 and that requires a newer version of firmware which was created just for that purpose when wave 3 was released. so you neeed iextreme 1.51 or wait will the 14th and 1.6 will be released which includes support for wave 3 better security and 0800 mode for all drives to rip games.

and as far as stealth checking goes velvet assasins is in the database for abgx which is the preferred stealth check program so get it at www.abgx360.net and also get the wave 3 video iso file from the downloads section of that same site and after you install abgx unzip the video file and place it in the stealthfiles folder in the abgx install directory which is usually prgramfiles/abgx/stealthfiles

 

but when I rip it the game is unstelthed.Is there a reason for then.I think that is the root of the problem.Just got to figure out why it does that before i go and update the firmware.

 

i dont know man but abgx will fix that if you try it. thats what it is for. but even if you get the game disc stealthed and burned it still will not work unless you uipdate your firmware to 1.51

 

so is abgx the new burning tool or I can still use XBC 2.8

You burned and checked with XBC? No wonder it sais it isn't stealth, XBC can't check on the new wave 3 games. It's good for ripping, not for checking. Do as the others said and you should be just fine.
